Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal opinions (including legal analysis, drafting, and review of loan agreements and syndicated loan documentation);
• Providing legal support in the development and implementation of new products;
• Representing and protecting the Bank’s interests before public and private entities;
• Providing legal consultations to the Bank’s departments;
• Ensuring the Bank’s policies, procedures, and agreements comply with the requirements of the National Bank of Georgia and applicable legislation.

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in law, Master of Laws degree preferred;
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience as a lawyer particularly in Private Law (Bank or a Financial institution);
• Languages: Fluent knowledge of the Georgian language,Good knowledge of the English language; Knowledge of Russian is Preferably;

• Technical knowledge and skills: Knowledge of Civil Code of Georgia, Law of Georgia on Activities of Commercial Banks; other banking regulations; Good legal writing skills; Contract drafting; Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
