Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s information security and privacy frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with the regulations of the National Bank of Georgia and international standards (NIST Cybersecurity Framework);
  • Identify information security and cybersecurity risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures;
  • Develop procedures and internal regulatory documentation for the administration of security systems (SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Anti-Malware, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP, PAM, and others) and monitor their implementation;
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of DLP rules and controls;
  • Respond to information security incidents in a timely manner, participate in investigations, and implement corrective actions;
  • Document security breaches, assess their impact, and prepare relevant reports;
  • Support the monitoring of privileged access, information asset inventory, and security controls;
  • Prepare information security reports for management and regulatory authorities;
  • Support security awareness initiatives and business continuity (BCP) activities.

Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; professional information security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CEH, SANS SEC450, or equivalent will be considered an advantage;
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field, including at least 2 years of experience in Information Security;
Languages: Fluent knowledge of the Georgian and English languages.
