Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day IT support activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard;
  • Respond promptly to service issues and requests, delivering technical support to employees across the organization;
  • Manage IT equipment inventory, including maintenance, repair, replacement, and procurement of hardware and related assets;
  • Support and troubleshoot critical banking systems: Core Banking, card management systems, internet and mobile banking platforms;
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive support tasks and improve overall service quality;
  • Mentor and train junior support specialists and interns, providing ongoing technical guidance;
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in IT support and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Preferred higher education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience in technical support, with at least 1 years in the banking or financial sector is preferable;
  • Languages: Fluent knowledge of the Georgian language, Knowledge of English will be considered an advantage;
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills: Deep knowledge of Windows Server and Windows client environments, Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services, Solid understanding of enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls), Experience with Helpdesk / ITSM tools.

  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and other departments;
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
